The exhibition entitled The Atmosphere Miró (2021) highlights the originality of Joan Miró’screative processes and the fortitude of his poetic dimension. Sculpture, prints, drawing and painting from the collections of the Musée Rolin and the Fundació Joan Miró dialogue in this journey through the unique imagination of Miró. Since 1999, the Musée Rolin of Autun has conserved the donation of Monique and André Frénaud, which is witness to the intellectual and artistic complicity uniting Miró and the French poet, which is also the basis for this project. The Fundació Joan Miró contributes eight bronze sculptures, seven large-format lithographs and 31 black
and white photographs by Joaquim Gomis, these latter expressing the detailed atmosphere of the creative ambiences and landscapes that inspired Miró.
