Description:
This DVD contains three films and interviews with the artist made by Clovis Présvost between 1971 and 1974: “Miró parle”, “Miró, lithographie d’une affiche” and “Miró sculpteur”.
In “Miró parle” the artist is interviewed in his Son Boter studio in Palma de Mallorca in 1974 for Carles Santos and Clovis Prévost’s film “Miró un portrait”. In the film, Joan Miró talks about his roots and the inspiration for his work.
In “Miró, lithographie d’une affiche” the camera captures the artist making a lithograph, never intruding but showing Miró at his most spontaneous.
“Miró sculpteur” reveals Joan Miró’s inexplicable, unpredictable, instinctive and ephemeral creative process. The film was shot mainly during Miró’s work sessions at the Clémenti foundry in Meudon.

On the occasion of the exhibition Miró, Grand Palais (2018-19), the writer Adrien Goetz writes this fiction novel, related to the artist and his work.
