This catalogue raisonné of Miró’s paintings covers seventy-three years of artistic work from 1908, the date of the earliest identified painting, to 1981. It is in six volumes, each one representing different stages of his work.
So far, 2040 paintings have been recorded. Volume I (1908-1930) contains 322 works, 244 of which are reproduced in colour.
Each reproduction is accompanied by a descriptive note giving the following details: title, date, technique, medium, dimensions, location of signature, handwritten notes on the back, collection, provenance, exhibitions, and bibliography.
