Description:
The Fundation presents a retrospective of the work of Sean Scully (Dublin, 1945), who combines features of different pictorial styles (Geometrical Abstraction, Minimalism, Conceptual Art and Abstract Expressionism, amongst others) to create a language of his own. By displaying his paintings, drawings and photographs together, it is possible to see the consistency that gives meaning to his art.
Curated by Pilar Cruz for Espai 13, A Monster Who Tells the Truth exhibition series questions the boundaries between disciplines in order to explore the dynamics of power that affect knowledge.
