Description:
This exhibition at the Fundació Joan Miró shows different stages in the work of Fernand Léger, from 1905, the date of the first paintings in his youth, through to the major works of genre art from the 1950s, at the end of his life, such as “La Partie de campagne” (The outing). Its overarching aim is to reveal the recurring features in the artist’s artistic exploration over more than fifty years.
Curated by Pilar Cruz for Espai 13, A Monster Who Tells the Truth exhibition series questions the boundaries between disciplines in order to explore the dynamics of power that affect knowledge.
