It represents the communion between the artist and Mont-roig, in a tribute to the Mediterranean landscape, the rural world and its people. Miró, convinced of the strength of the land, captured his admiration for the rural world in his 1968 work “Paysan catalan au clair de lune (Pagès català al clar de lluna)”.
